Personal fraud/investment scams

Good afternoon 

Unfortunately there has been a slight increase in reported scams recently. 

Offenders have duped persons into investing money in a variety of ways or will encourage persons into loaning money.  Offenders have stolen the identity of vulnerable persons, applied for large amounts of loans/money from legitimate sources and then try to get the same vulnerable persons into sending the money into foreign accounts.   

There are many other ways that offenders will try and take money from people.

Unfortunately the offenders are often very believable and can scam persons who wouldn't ordinarily fall for such acts.
